We’ve been thinking about you lately and wanted to take a few minutes to thank you for all you’ve done for us. Purchasing our system from you in 2001 has been one of our better decisions. It’s been a great business, met lots of great people we may never have met and had the great fun in the process. Leaving the medical field and entering a whole new business world was a bit scary at first but, as you promised the day we took delivery, you would always be there for us at any time for any reason. We sure took advantage of that promise when we were rookies. Calling you late at night, early in the morning, weekends etc. You were always there and resolved our problem. Not really a problem now that we’re veterans because it was always something we just forgot to check or do as routine. You never made us feel stupid. You truly build an “idiot proof” proof system. One situation I will never forget was the first time we did the Bob Hope Classic (our first big event, about 2 months after taking delivery)…we had a problem in the middle of the day with a battery. We called you to see what we could do….you said you were on your way…. You drove almost 3 hours to fix the problem. We will NEVER forget that. You could have called someone locally but you wanted to make sure it was corrected perfectly. To this day, 3 years later, if I have any questions or problems…you’re still there. Sorry, I’m just going on and on. The bottom line here is simply, you are a man of your word and now a good friend and we just wanted to say THANKS.
My husband and I had been looking for a small business to venture into, 15 years in the restaurant business was wearing on him, and we were thinking about some sort of coffee business. We saw Jason from Curbside Cafe with one of the custom Seattle coffee trucks at the local Farmer’s Market, and we loved the way everything was put together. You could tell right away that a lot of thought had gone into the design, from someone who had worked the truck himself, right down to every cup holder, and it was so compact! We have now owned our truck for a year, and everybody who sees it comments about how great it is. We’ve added our own little touches, but it’s Bruce’s design that is so well thought out, that makes the truck work so well. We now have regular Farmer’s Market jobs, as well as private parties, film and TV work, school special events, and horse shows. It’s a lot of work, but it’s a lot of fun, and we love our truck.
Purchasing this truck was absolutely one of the best decisions we could have made. Not only is it a lot of fun, it has proven to be very profitable for us.
Bruce has been Awsome! My business would not function without him. The trucks are bulletproof. I have worked mine very hard and it is still going strong. The suport I have gotten from Seattle Coffee has been comperible to that of a Franchise. There are not enough good things I can say about Bruce and The Seattle Coffee Company.
We looked at several mobile espresso trucks, before purchasing our Seattle Coffee Truck. It is by far the best looking (important in the food and beverage business) and most well thought out truck available. It was obviously built by someone who worked in the mobile coffee business, every last detail is well planned. Even the inspectors at the Health Department “ooohhh and aahhh!” at it. I have yet to have something break on it and I bought an older used model. If you plan on buying a mobile coffee vehicle. This is, without a doubt, the one you want.
Thank you so much for all your help in getting me established in this exciting business! You have been there every step of the way to answer questions and offer support.
My family is having fun showing off our new espresso truck, and our community has been supportive and welcoming. A couple of people have asked where we bought it.
I have always wanted a small business of my own, and after years of careful consideration I finally came upon the perfect opportunity.
With no rent for a retail location, flexable schedule to lessen day care costs (the kids are begging to come along and be a part of the business), and a limited need for employees, this business is a perfect fit for a single mom. My dream is coming true.
Working with Bruce has been such a delight. He not only was the man that built my truck, but he has also turned into one of my good friends. We speak weekly about various things. And I am grateful to him for showing me this business opportunity. Bruce is a man of integrity and a pleasure to work with.
I entered the mobile espresso/smoothie business in July 2001 after purchasing a year old truck that had been built by Bruce Kosmala at The Original Seattle Coffee Company. The truck had been in business for a year in the Fresno, Calif. area and the owner wanted to sell it. After the purchase of the truck, Bruce took me by the hand and “walked me through” so to speak, all of the phases associated with the operation of a mobile espresso/smoothie bar. From helping me set up a daily route, to showing me what to charge for private party catering and everything else in between, Bruce made me feel comfortable entering into a business where I lacked experience and know how. Because of the hands on experience I received, I was able to go out (even though I was nervous at first) and have the confidence needed to operate my espresso/smoothie bar.
Anytime I had a question, needed help or had a mechanical problem with my equipment, I just had to pick up the phone and give Seattle Coffee Co. a call and Bruce was there to help. I never felt “left out in the cold” which can be unnerving when you are new to a business!
I feel that Seattle Coffee Co. builds a great truck! My truck has been extremely reliable over the years and if a problem should arise, Bruce has been there to either, fix it or help me find a person or facility that could. I have seen other mobile espresso/smoothie trucks on the road and for my money, Seattle Coffee Trucks are the best! My best compliments come from movie and television crews when they tell me, “your truck is so much better then the last one we had.” That makes it all worth it!
As a former Flight Attendant, the espresso/smoothie truck is really an extension of my former skills. Being one’s own boss with unlimited income opportunities are the amazing bonuses. Bruce’s expertise and support get skyhigh ratings from this operator.
Bruce! You are the man! When I first talked with you about interest in buying one of your vehicles, you spoke of them as though they are the best thing since sliced bread. I was amazed to see that you were right. This truck is more than I thought it could be. You and your guys build a beautiful and very user friendly unit. I have already, in my second day of having it back home, received numerous compliments on my truck and its gourmet products it produces.
You have also delivered on the service you said that comes with buying a Seattle Coffee Truck. I was not even home from transporting it yet when I called you the first time with a question. And you are still there for me now when I have continuing inquiries. Your knowledge has been so much help to me in starting up my business and I wanted to say a heart felt thank you. Not only have I just become a customer of yours, I have also gained a very good friend. Thanks again Bruce.
Coyote Joe’s Coffee Company is thrilled that we have partnered with Bruce at Seattle Coffee Trucks to grow our business. We recently received our Baby Brewt (we are calling it the Coyote’s Den) and are howling with delight. As we went through the county inspection processes we found that our county officials were surprisingly pleased with the quality and attention to detail that Bruce had given to the plans and the overall build of our Coyote Den. Our first little outing proved to be successful both in the ease of learning to use our facility, as well as the sparkling high tech look. It was well received by our community and we were amazed at the bookings for the future events that we got our very first day in operation.
Making the choice to purchase an Original Seattle Coffee Company truck has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Not only is the business great but Bruce and his staff have been nothing short of fantastic from start to finish, and even though we live far away in Las Vegas, Bruce has always been there for us whenever we have needed help with the truck or even the business in general. The best thing I can say about our experience with the Original Seattle coffee Company is not only have we obtained a fantastic business, but also gained a wonderful FRIEND!!!
I wanted to write and express my appreciation for your commitment to the completion of the beautiful craft you produced. Throughout the process you kept me informed of what was going on, and you followed through from the initial conversation to the final health inspection. Admirable. Not many people in the business see it all the through the way you did. Thanks.
I spent 35 years in the construction industry before deciding to get into the espresso business and purchase a truck from Seattle Coffee Trucks. The two biggest things that impressed me about Seattle’s operations were the careful construction of the vehicle itself, and the structural integrity of the all importatnt mechanical systems. There are plenty of so called coffee trucks out there that barely pass health inspection standards, but this sure isn’t one of them. This vehicle is very well designed, and amazingly compact, considering the quantity of equipment it carries both under the counter and on top of it.
Buying a Seattle Coffee Truck as an addition to the coffeehouse we already own was one of the best decisions we ever made. Having the truck at local events exposes us to thousands of customers who didn’t know about us. It has really increased our business and the local community’s awareness of us. It’s like having a rolling billboard! The truck is perfectly designed for producing drinks quickly and easily while interacting with customers in a very personal way. The Original Seattle Coffee Co. provides incredible ongoing support for their customers, from operating tips to service and repair issues, they’re always ther to help. It’s a great truck built by a great company!
THE ROAMIN’ CAFE BY CAFE MORLINO
I’ve just picked up my beautiful coffee trailer from Seattle Coffee Trucks and I couldn’t be more thrilled! Bruce was attentive and flexible to work with throughout the manufacturing process. His attention to detail is apparent not only to me but to everyone who has seen the trailer.
Bruce’s work has that “ooh and ahh” factor you just can’t get anywhere else. It carries the same kind of excitement you get stepping into a new top-of-the-line RV. Even the areas not visible to the public are beautiful. You can tell Bruce takes great pride in his work, producing the level of product I am proud to own.
Thanks for the truck! I get nothing but compliments everywhere I go. People always are amazed at how well designed it is.
Personally, I appreciate all of the help you have given me in getting my business started and also the way you are always willing to help with any issue regarding my business or the truck. Things do need fixing or repaired from time to time, and you and your staff always seem to be ready and willing to help!
Thanks again feel free to use me as a a reference!
Buying a Seattle Coffee Truck was one of the biggest decisions I have made. If I knew then what I know now I would not have been so nervous or cautious. Working with Bruce and his team through the whole process has been a wonderful experience. I don’t think I have ever bought a product that came with such pride and workmanship that went into building it. The service and help that I have recieved after getting my vehicle home (which is 2000 miles away from Bruce) has been outstanding. Bruce is always there to help out in any way he can and he stands behind his product.
What I enjoy most about my my mobile espresso bar is when a customer is standing at your window and they take a drink of their friends drink and they say “I’ll have one of those” not even knowing what it is.
Owning your own truck gives you a lot of flexibilty with your time and endless opportunity to make money. I am looking forward to calling Bruce again and ordering my 2nd truck.
Thank you, Bruce!!
Well, it’s been about 2 months now since my XL’s been on the road and I’m finding that I’m getting busier by the day. For instance last weekend was a Hibiscus festival which brought in over 3,000 people. This weekend is Earth Day down at Riverside Park. I was completely booked each weekend this month and next month I’ve already turned down 2 people because of overlapping events.
After spending 3 weeks laying the groundwork for my daily route, I am now booked for 3 days a week and am averaging around $100.00 per hour. I was invited to be on a radio station next Monday for an interview and expect that will take me to the next level.
I’ve had my hiccups along the way, but nothing major. Bruce has been there for me each time I called; I think he sleeps with the phone under his pillow. He’s a man of integrity and honor and for that I am grateful. I would not be in business if it weren’t for him. Well, maybe in business, but not a successful one.
My truck is an absolute charm and a real eye catcher. Ergonomically designed, sleek, efficient and downright cool! I’m living the American dream and will be passing this awesome business down to my children when the time is right.
Thank you, Bruce. You’re a salt of the earth kind of guy, a rare find nowadays and a true Friend for Life.
Bean Me Up!
PS: I plan on calling you this time next year to place my order for my next XL! I’ll get you pictures as soon as I can.
It took us a couple of years to decide whether or not to purchase a espresso truck. When we finally decided that a trailer would be the best fit for us we went for it!
We purchased a Baby Brewt had it painted black to match our Jeep and have enjoyed every minute of owning it!
This summer we are retiring from our regular jobs and will be attending more special events with our Espresso Bar. We sell espresso/smoothies at 2 Farmers Markets, The County Fair, Swim Meets and various other events. We enjoy meeting new customers at these events. We have been hired to work at several special events from our contacts at the Farmers Markets.
